Nigerian President Umaru Yar Adua not dead, speaks to BBC reporter on phone, Audio

Well , Panasianbiz yesterday reported that the Nigerian President might be dead.

The Nigerian President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua has given a telephone interview to the BBC on Monday and put to rest rumors that he was dead or in coma.

It has been more than six week that he is getting treatment in Saudi Arabia.His absence has sparked calls for him to step down

The interview was recorded late Monday and aired on Tuesday on BBC

“At the moment I am undergoing treatment, and I’m getting better from the treatment. I hope that very soon there will be tremendous progress, which will allow me to get back home,” he told a BBC reporter. “

As soon as my doctors discharge me, I will return to Nigeria to resume my duties.”
“I wish, at this stage, to thank all Nigerians for their prayers for my good health, and for their prayers for the nation.” said the president

    Former President Umaru Musa Yar’ADUA is dead
    From a reliable source He is dead some months ago, but not declared, i believe that on the recent declaration of his death has something to do with the recent tribunal judgement in Ekiti state
