Priyanka Singha crowned 28th Miss Indian American

Priyanka Singha, has won the 28th Miss Indian American title, beating contestants from 25 cities across the United States.

Bollywood star  Neha Dhupia crowned Priyanka as the Miss Indian American in a glittering ceremony.

The beauty pageant was held on November 21 in Tampa, Florida.

She will represent the US in Miss India World Pageant, to be held on March 27, 2010 at South Africa.

Shivali Vyas, of South Florida won the first runner-up title.

Disha Patel was the second-runner up.
