The 82nd Academy Awards (Oscar) ceremony which honored the best films of 2009 was held on March 7, 2010, at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.

The Academy Awards was telecasted live in the US on ABC. Actors AlecBaldwin and Steve Martin hosted the show.

Best actor in a leading role was won by Jeff Bridges for ‘Crazy Heart’ and the best actress in a leading role was won by Sandra Bullock for ‘The Blind Side’
