Facebook Film “The Social Network” opens October 1

Arguably, Facebook belongs on a computer screen. It will be interesting
to see if The Social Network can add something to the bigger screen

Gawker says, “The attached poster for Facebook film
The Social Network neatly illustrates how Hollywood will try and turn an
awkward young computer nerd into an exciting character worthy of a
big-budget Hollywood drama: light him like a serial killer.”

Fans aren’t sure if The Social Network has something to add to the
entertainment world, or if it’s just another means of capitalizing on
Facebook’s financial success. Some argue that there isn’t anything sexy
about a pasty codegeek messing around with PHP all day.

Jesse Eisenberg (Adventureland, Holy Rollers, Camp Hell) will play
Zuckerberg. The cast include Rashida Jones (I Love You Man), Justin
Timberlake, and Rooney Mara (Nightmare on Elm Street).
