The Shanghai Rolex Masters tennis tournament will be played from October 11 2010. It will see the return of Roger Federer to tennis after his US Open campaign.

Federer and Rafael Nadal are in different halves of the draw and that means that they can meet each in the final. However, Federer may have to play Robin Soderling in the quarter-final which will make it difficult for him.

Federer could also face world no. 2, Novak Djokovic, in the semi-finals.
