The draw for the Quarter finals of the Champions League was held in Nyon, Switzerland on Friday 19th March. The result of the draw is as follows:
Q/F 1: Olympique Lyonnais vs Girondins Bordeaux
Q/F 2: Bayern Munich vs Manchester United
Q/F 3: Arsenal vs Barcelona
Q/F 4: Internazionale vs CSKA Moscow

Semi Final 1: Bayern/Man Utd vs Lyon/Bordeaux
Semifinal 2: Inter/CSKA vs Arsenal/Barcelona
———————————————————————————–
Final: Winner of Semi Final 1 vs Winner of Semifinal 2
The biggest match of the Quarter finals will obviously be the clash of Arsenal and Barcelona and the ensuing return of Henry against his ex-club. Arsene Wenger though was quick to downplay his comeback; ”Why does it matter?” said Wenger. “What matters is that people who turn up and pay £50 see a good football game. It’s not a personal game – it’s a team game. Arsenal will be looking to go one up over Barca after getting beaten against them in dramatic fashion in the 2006 Champions League final.
The draw also made sure that there would be at least one French team in the Semi Finals as Lyon and Bordeaux were drawn together.
Bayern Munich will look for revenge for their dramatic loss against Man Utd in the 1999 Champions League final at Nou Camp. Both teams have come far since that fateful day, each winning the Champions league once since then. Bayern in 2001 and United more recently in 2008.
Internazionale have arguably the easiest tie as they face surprise package CSKA Moscow in the quarters. Inter recently knocked out Chelsea over two legs but Mourinho will be eying the top prize as his target this time.
