Zaheer Khan takes 7 wickets, India wins 2nd wicket agaisnt Bangladesh
India has won the 2nd and the final cricket test match against Bangladesh at Dhaka on Wednesday by ten wickets.
With this win, the Indians made a clean-sweep of the series, winning it 2-0 after also winning both their ODIs against Bangladesh in the tri-series earlier.
Resuming on their overnight score of 228/3, the Bangladeshi side slowly crept up to get closer to the Indian total without losing any wickets. Overnight batsmen, Mohammad Ashraful and Shahadat Hossain added an invaluable 68 runs for the fourth wicket.
With only 21 runs needed to wipe off the lead, the Indians got their first breakthrough of the day. After that, none of the Bangladeshi batsmen seemed to survive too much as Zaheer Khan added four more wickets to his three overnight to end with a haul of 7/87 in the innings.
Bangladesh had crashed to 312 all out, which left the Indians with only two runs to score. The opening pair took a couple of balls to achieve the target.
Zaheer Khan won both the bog awards, the man of the match and the man of the series.
