Australia are likely to go in with the same team for this test too. South Africa are set to make 3 changes to the team which played the first two tests. Imraan Khan will make his debut as an opener, Albie Morkel will be making his debut. They will replace McKenzie, Morne Morkel and the injured skipper Graeme Smith.
Pitch and conditions
Less than 24 hours before the game, the Newlands pitch was sporting significant patches of grass, although there were sizeable bare spots at either end. It will be given a shave before the match and should become the best batting surface of the series.
