Things are not looking as good for RCB, as the runners up from last year might have wanted. They are placed at number seven with just six games to go before the playoffs start.

The home form for the Royal Challengers has been dismal. They have managed to post just two wins at home so far and this one is a home game.

RCB’s weakest link so far has been its bowling. With their star spinner, Murali sitting on the bench and their skipper, Vettori not performing on the field, things are not looking good. Considering his poor form, Vettori offered to include Murali at his expense. But the offer was declined by the Sri Lankan.

At the moment, the Royal Challengers will enter this game with two consecutive losses preceding it. The bowling combination needs to aid the ballistic batting, which has saved them on so many occasions this season.

For the Chargers, things are looking even worse. None of their departments is performing well. The fielding against Pune was wayward. However, the batsmen came to the rescue then. But repeated fielding lapses against RCB cost them the game.

The Chargers would be waiting for their overseas all-rounder, JP Duminy to recover quickly from his injury and come back with an improved form to rescue the team from the miserable position it is in.
