Heavy and persistent overnight rain threatens to wash out the India vs Bangladesh ICC World Twenty20 Cricket Match at Trent Bridge, Nottingham, on Saturday.With rain showing no signs of relenting, the chances of a game looks very bleak at the moment.

Reports say that it started raining since late Friday evening and has since lashed the city through the night.

The weather forecast for the day is also bleak, with more rainfall predicted for rest of the day.

Earlier, on Friday, the opening ceremony of the ICC T20 World Cup was cancelled due to continuous rain
