The 35th match of this year’s Indian Premier League will be played at the Subrata Roy Stadium in Pune, where the Pune Warriors (PW) will host the Deccan Chargers (DC). The scheduled date for pw vs dc game is April 26, 2012.

Pune Warriors have had a relatively good IPL this year. They have been able to beat some good sides like Delhi Daredevils and CSK. Although they stand in the lower end of the points table, the Warriors have given strong performances in patches.

The Warriors have quite a few batsmen in nick including Ryder, Uthappa and Smith. The newest addition to this list is Manish Pandey who scored an unbeaten 80 the other day. The Warriors also have Luke Wright down the order who didn’t get a chance to bat.

However, Pune’s bowling needs to be spruced up a little. Alfonso Thomas is expected to be retained in the bowling department.

The Deccan Chargers are still without a win in the tournament. They got their first point from a play-less draw against the KKR. In the batting department, the likes of Sangakarra and Duminy have been a flop so far. No one has scored more than 100 runs except Shikhar Dhawan who has scored more than 200 runs.

The Chargers have a similar story in their bowling. Apart from Dale Steyn, none of the bowlers have chipped in.
