Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Aamir Will be No Longer a part of ICC Awards List

Suspended Pakistan bowlers Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Aamir names are withdrawn from next month’s ICC awards in India, this move is quite a predicted one from the International Cricket council.

Aamir was nominated in emerging player of the year category and Asif was nominated for test player. An ICC spokesman said on Friday that both players were withdrawn from the nominations list.

Earlier on Thursday ICC suspended Salman Butt, Asif and Amir and trio questioned by police on police after being charged.

Intentional bowling of no-balls in the fourth test against England at Lord’s is centre staged last week through a British tabloid and later these allegations are proved up to a certain extent too.

ICC is considering this entire issue and looking forward to take further actions against to this incident. Many famous cricketers and prominent personalities in cricket already responded on this context.
