The Super Kings ended their victory drought by posting a win against the embittered Deccan Chargers. This was their first win in two weeks.
With just five league games to go, the Super Kings need to show some consistency in order to qualify for the playoffs.
Suresh Raina seems to have clicked at the right time in that respect. He scored 44 and 32 in his previous two games. A flatter Wankhede track should help his cause of playing a crucial role in taking his team through to the next round.
