Karnataka Premier League Schedule/Fixtures, Live Scores

The inaugural edition of the eight-team, 20-over-a-side Karnataka Premier League KPL , on the lines of the Indian Premier League (IPL),was be staged at the Chinnaswamy stadium from September 9th to 23rd.

A total prize money of Rs 20 lakh will be on offer for the first edition with the winner taking home Rs 8 lakh and the runner-up half that amount.

The details of the 2nd edition are

The league shall have 8 teams from 8 locations that will compete in the KPL

Each team shall be represented by a Franchisee and shall be a consortium of 3-5 districts allocated
geographically, referred to as the catchment area.

16 day tournament with 2 matches every day from 16:00 to 19:00 hrs & 19:30 to 22:30 hrs (Day/ Night)

Each team shall play the other once, with the top 4 teams qualifying for the Semis and thereafter a final .     Total – 31 Matches (28 League matches, 2 Semis and 1 final)
