The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad will host its first match of the Indian Premier League 2012 on May 8. The match will be played between the Deccan Chargers (DC) and the Kings Eleven Punjab (KXIP). This (dc vs kxip) will be the 53rd game of the tournament.

The Kings XI have had a consistently fluctuating season so far. They have not won or lost more than two games in a row. The Deccan Chargers are in a deep slump. They are placed at the last spot in the tournament. Even if they win all of their games to come, their total points would not be more than KKR’s current points.
Nothing seems to be working for the chargers who have managed to win only two games so far. In their latest game, their bowling was unable to defend a good total of 170 plus.
However, a win here would be a consolation that the team requires to up it’s spirits.
