BCCI issues notice to Delhi Daredevils for sending Nehra and Gambhir to Sri Lanka
The BCCI has issued a notice to the Delhi Daredevils, admonishing them for not taking prior permission before sending Gautam Gambhir and Ashish Nehra to Sri Lanka for treatment.
Both Nehra and Gambhir were injured and had taken a flight to Sri Lanka to get their injuries treated by an Ayurvedic doctor. However, since they are contracted by the BCCI, it is also necessary for them to keep the Board in the loop for the same.
Nehra has yet to play a game in the tournament thanks to his groin injury, whereas Gambhir has played in two matched but injured himself in the third game. Since his injury, the Daredevils have yet to win a game, having lost three matches in succession.
