AR Rahman to perform in closing ceremony of IPL 2010

AR Rahman will perform live in the final of the IPL this  for the closing ceremony.

The match will be played at the Dr. DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai and will see the Mumbai Indians play the winners of Chennai-Deccan.
The Times of India reported that, Rahman will be performing live at the DY Patil stadium for the IPL finale where he will perform his Oscar winning song Jai ho, from the movie, Slumdog Millionaire.

The closing ceremony for the IPL has been planned for 25th of April, and will commence before the game, at around 6pm IST.

It is the first time that AR Rahman will perform in Mumbai after many, many years.
