Yao Ming and Ye Li Take Wedding Pictures (pix)

Yao Ming and bride-to-be Ye Li arrived at 6am at a wedding picture studio in Zhejiang to have pictures taken.

They then moved around to scenic spots in Taihuyuan.

It is customary for Chinese to take wedding pictures before the ceremony, even days before.

Autograph hounds showed up and Yao Ming obliged. 

Yao changed clothes twice and Ye wore a white wedding dress. 

The couple is expected to apply for a marriage certificate this

month and hold a wedding ceremony IF the national team will let Yao have a break long enough to do so.

And if they don't, well then they can deal with Ye Li. I'll bet she can get her way.
