Toothpaste with Engine Coolant
Well, at least you won't have to worry about your mouth overheating…a real consideration for many motor mouthed people.
The Dominican Republic has banned the sale of two different brands of toothpaste that were imported from China via Panama.
The toothpaste contained diethylene glycol, a toxic chemical used in engine coolants.
Consumers are being advised to not used the product…uh..really now?![]()
China's safety regulations are coming under fire as a result. Earlier this year there was a massive amount of pet food recalled because the chemical melamine was discovered and resulted in the deaths of dogs and cats in the U.S.
Now, if China starts making toothpaste for dogs and cats, we'd really better watch out.
