The health department in Hong Kong issued a warning to not buy or use Lexscl Fat Rapid Loss capsules.
What these skinny people are doing taking pills for weight control is beyond me.
The capsules contained sibutramine and thyroid hormones.
Sibutramine is an appetite suppressant that causes increased blood pressure and heart rate.
Thyroid hormones are used to manage hypothyroidism and cause hand tremors, subnormal activity of the thyroid gland, excessive sweating, headache and insomnia.
Experts in China say weight control should be achieved by:
1. good diet
2. appropriate exercise
3. consulting a doctor before using any drug for weight control
