Opening of Atlantis Palm Hotel in Dubai, The Biggest Party in the World

The Palm Hotel in Dubai was inaugurated on Nov 20 with a party which has been branded as the Largest Party ever. The Atlantis Palm Hotel in Dubai is built at a whopping $1.5 billion investment on the artificial island  “The Palm Jumeira.

Times.online writes:

"There was no evidence of the global financial crisis as tycoons and celebrities streamed into Dubai for the world’s most expensive private party.
Having spent £1 billion, the owners of the Atlantis hotel, which they hope will become the new symbol of excess in a region already replete with towering statements of wealth, splashed out £13.5 million on its opening."

Inaugurations final fireworks said to be the biggest and largest ever in the world was designed and created by Grucci, who designed the fireworks for the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics. May Hollywood celcebrities were present at the party.
