Olympic Stars – Paris 1924 – Paavo Nurmi

Paavo Nurmi represented Finland and was known as the flying Finn.

Though the 1,500m and 5,000m finals were scheduled just an hour apart he still participated.

He also was on the team 3,000m and the individual and team cross country.

He won them ALL – five Olympic titles.
