Olympic Stars – Berlin 1936 – Jesse Owens

Jesse Owens was the star of the 1936 Olympics in Berlin.

He took gold medals in the 100m, 200m, 4×100m relay and long jump.

The performance was an in-your-face proof that Hitler's idea of Aryan superiority was nonsense.

Since Hitler couldn't claim superiority by genes, he decided to try military might and failed at that, too.

Jesse Owens became a star in the U.S. that crossed racial boundaries.

So, why does anybody go back across those lines?
