Olympic Champ Gary Hall, Jr to wear Speedo at Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic Games
Gary Hall, Sr was a three-time Olympian, 1968, 1972 and 1976. After that he built the Phoenix Swim Club where his son, now 'old' for a swimmer got his start.
Gary Hall, Jr has already represented the United States in three Olympics, 1996, 2000 and 2004 and hopes to make it a fourth…the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic Games.
If he does make the team, he will be wearing a Speedo. The swimwear company announced a deal that will let Hall just swim as he prepares to make the team, which will be decided at the Olympic trials.
First up, Gary Hall, Jr will compete for the US in the 50 free and the 4×100 free relay at the 2007 Pan American Games, July 13-29 in Rio Dejaneiro, Brazil.
Speedo will know soon enough if they have a swimmer to represent them at the Beijing Games.
