Olympic Babies – August 8, 2008 delivered at 8:08pm
Chinese couples are busy this month …trying to conceive a potential Olympic Baby…to be born on August 8th at 8:08pm and weighing in at 8lbs 8oz…
8:08pm on 8/8/08 will be when the Beijing Olympics will open.
Instead of going out for the National Day holiday…couples stayed home and planned….schemed…and well, yeah, you know.
Other couples called for counseling on in vitro fertilization.
Chinese are quite superstititious….love trends, good luck numbers – 8s are the best.
There were twice as many babies born in 2000 (36 million) as there were in 1999, or 2001 – They are called millenium babies.
This year is the Golden Piggy year meaning babies will have a happy and prosperous life.
It is not beyond some couples to ask their doctors to force the timing of a baby.
What a rough way to begin, eh?
This year and next promise to be baby booming years for the Chinese.
