Norway’s Gulbrandsen scored the 500th goal.

Norwegian striker Ragnhild Gulbrandsen scored the 500th goal in FIFA Women’s World Cup history when she found the net shortly before half-time in Norway’s 7-2 win over Ghana on 20 September.

Gulbrandsen was a member of the Olympic Gold medal winning team in Sydney 2000.Ragnhild%20Gulbrandsen.jpg

She joins an illustrious group of milestone goalscorers that includes current German coach Silvia NEID (GER, 100th in 1995) and Julie FOUDY (USA, 200th in 1999).
