“Made in China” Bridge Built by Blind Man Collapses

Two officials in China were sent to jail because they did not stop a bridge being built by a blind person.
First off…the officials did not check the qualifications of the blind builder.
Then…when they found out he was indeed blind, they didn't stop him.
Next…the blind contractor did not follow the blueprints that were designed.
Finally…the bridge collapsed. 
Is there any wonder why the bridge came falling down?
One official got a year and the other got 18 months.
And I wonder, is that all they got?
They should have made the two men run back and forth across the bridge.
