FIFA 2007 Women’s World Cup – Australia

There are 16 teams that will compete in this year's FIFA 2007 World's Cup in China from September 10 – September 30th.
In the AFC the three representative teams are Australia, Korea DPR and Japan.
China 2007 is the first FIFA Women's World Cup where Australia will compete under the banner of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
It will be Australia's fourth appearance, 1995, 1999, 2003.

Their best player - Cheryl Salisbury, 33, holder of the team's appearance and goals records.
