Commode-Shaped House Built by Mr. Toilet (Pic)
A South Korean politician has made a career out of beautifying public restrooms… now he has a commode-shaped house.
The house is two stories tall and is ready for the World Toilet Association meeting that will take place in Seoul today.
The Seoul conference:
1. a "Hansel and Gretel" bathroom made from cookies and candy that gives presents to children when they flush,
2. a "toilet gallery cafe" where people can sit on colorful commodes while drinking tea.
The man wants guests to the conference to come spend a night in the bowl at a cost of $50,000.
The house/commode is 24.5 feet tall and is 4,520 square feet.
In the center of the house is a floor to ceiling window that turns opaque when users touch it after entering to do their business.
A motion sensor activates some 'smooth' classical music.
There are four other bathrooms in the house.
The roof balcony (bowl) is accessed by climbing up stairs through what would be a toilet drain – which is equipped to collect rain for some functions to conserve drinking water….or flushing water, not to be confused, of course.
