Is there anything that the Chinese will NOT try to fake?

China is investigating the sale of fake blood protein in the northeastern province of Jilin.

Apparently 59 hospitals were sold more than 2,000 bottles of counterfeit blood protein.

So far, seven of 36 batches tested were found to be bogus. fake.protein.gif

This is not the only area where China has a problem with food and drug safety. Add to the list, fake polio vaccines, vitamins, even baby formula.

Last month, the former top drug regulator was sentenced to death for taking bribes. The whole industry cannot be trusted from the top down. And to think, people go to China for operations because it's cheaper. There is a reason it is cheaper.

Other provinces, Shanxi, Hubei, Hunan, Ningxia, Qinghai, and Chongqing, also have been found to have fake blood protein.

A good way to tell, is to notice the doctors and nurses are wearing fake Nike gym shoes.

When will these kind of people in China learn?
