China’s Brilliance Auto Will Export to Germany
Brilliance China Automotive Holdings will export 158,000 self-branded cars to Germany within the next five year. Being a domestic partner (not to be confused with same sex partner) of BMW AG will help.
It will be the first time a Chinese car will be exported to Germany using its own brand name.
The first 3,000 Zunchi will sale from Dalian city, in China’s northeast.
Next year, 15,000 will head to Germany and Brilliance hopes…other European countries will show interest.
Zhonghua, the maker of Zunchi, has passed German emission and safety standards.
Brilliance already sells its cars to 23 overseas markets – Africa, South and North America and the Middle East.
Last year, export sales were up 107% to $50 million.
Here comes cars – "Made in China."
Perhaps they will be on everyone’s Christmas list next year.
