Aussies Prepare to Snap Up Tickets for 2008 Beijing Olympics
CoSport is also the official ticket and hospitality agent of the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC).
According to CoSport market research, there is an overwhelming reaction from the Australian public when asked for “expressions of interest” from people wanting to buy Olympic tickets.
Let me see…would they say, take your time, not too many people are planning on going? What's the hurry?
However, CoSport says they have received requests for 14,070 tickets so far including 1,290 for the opening ceremony and 437 for the closing ceremony.
The biggest sellers…3,495 tickets for the swimming events…the Aussie national sport.
There will be an awful lot of disappointed Aussie fans when the United States swims them into the bottom of the pool.
