10,000 Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic Franchise Stores are Planned

Submitted by Bill Belew on Sunday, 15 April 2007No Comment

Presently there are just 63 franchise retailers in China for the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics Franchise Stores, mostly in Beijing.

At the end of the year, that will change. "Organizers of the Beijing Olympics Games said they would allow individuals to open Olympic franchise stores by the first quarter of 2008."

Come early next year "the number of Olympic franchise stores across China will increase almost tenfold to 4,000 to 5,000 as small and medium sized cities hop on the Olympic bandwagon."

By the time the games roll around…10,000 franchise stores are hoped for.

Forecast sales of franchised goods are $1 billion. BOCOG's more conservative estimate is $700 million.

A big part of those sales are likely to come from the franchisers just setting up shop, no?

Are you interested in buying "Olympic Goods?"
