Iryna (Irina) ZHURAVSKAYA – Representing Ukraine at Miss World 2008
Iryna (Irina) ZHURAVSKA will represent Ukraine at the Miss World 2008 pageant at Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg on Saturday 13th December 2008 and take the crown from current Miss World, China’s Zhang Zilin. She’s considered a front runner.

She speaks: Ukrainian, Russian & English
Iryna grew up in Kiev.
Iryna was the first runner-up in the city competition in Ukrainian grammar and composition. She’s pretty and she can write.
Iryna is studying history, psychology, arts and literature.
Iryna works as a weather forecast announcer.
She likes: tennis; traveling; painting; piano; modern dancing; photography; poetry; listening to pop and lounge music; and reading the Russian classics.
Her favorite foods: cabbage soup, grilled salmon and chocolate!
Her motto – “Step back from evil and create blessings”.
