Edelweiss Cheung – Representing Hong Kong at Miss World 2008

Edelweiss Cheung will represent Hong Kong at the Miss World 2008 pageant at Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg on Saturday 13th December 2008.
Edelweiss? Must be a cultural thing, to be sure. She is 22 and tall, 179cm.
She has “big ears and one eye bigger than the other” smokes and OMG, kissed her boyfriend in public and still won the title.
When asked about criticism – “That was history. I feel I am more matured now. I have stepped into a different era . I am hoping, I can talk to people with my head high up. People are entitled to their own opinions. I don’t mind what people think of me. I will do my best.”
Let’s hope we all grow up.
