Having dealt with the 11/26 terrorist attack, Mumbaikars are coming out in force (36,000) have registered to run to show a united force against terrorism.

The slogan has changed from ‘Run Mumbai Run’ to ‘Mumbai runs to secure its future’. 36,000 people have already registered for the race.

Bollywood actor John Abraham is the brand ambassador for the 2009 race.

Abrahama said, “The 26/11 redefined for me what the marathon is all about, as taking on the terrorists in those days was a marathon of courage. Now, if we all can run together, there is nothing and nobody that can pull us apart.”
