FORD and GM are planning to lay off 55,000 factory jobs.

Everybody say, "Ouch!"

Meanwhile, KIA which is owned by HYUNDAI announced that it is planning on building a $1.2 Billion dollar plant in peanut country, GA…for a lot of peanuts.

The good news…they will create about 2,500 jobs.

On the same day as KIA’s announcement, TOYOTA announced that it will build its CAMRY at a SUBARU plant in Indiana, thus creating 1,000 jobs.

I know that 2,500 + 1,000 does not equal 55,000.

But two car makers are making enemies and two are making friends. Who’s your friend?

I drive a Toyota and my wife drives a Honda. My loyalties should be pretty obvious.
