India – Aren’t they cute?

The last time I was India I saw a small group of monkeys running around.I commented, "Aren’t they cute?" 
My friend answered quickly – "No, they are not. They are thieves."
"Uh, I didn’t know that."
No, thief is cute, is he?
But, it seems the monkeys have something else that make them totally uncool. They bite people AND they transmit rabies.
If you are planning on going to India to do business or otherwise – don’t feed the animals. AND don’t let them feed on you.
If you get bit, clean the wound and head for a doctor.
