Bollywood’s Shilpa Shetty and Hollywood’s Richard Gere Fight After Kissing

They kissed, 57-year old Richard Gere of Hollywood, and one of Bollywood's favorites, 31-year old, Shilpa Shetty.

Now they are fighting…the courts.

A judge in northwestern India has issued an arrest warrant for Richard Gere and summoned Shilpa Shetty to his court saying the couple broke India's strict public obscenity laws.

I am betting the judge just wants to meet the two stars.

Hard-liners among Hindus held rallies against the Gere and Shetty. Lawyers say the case has no legal merit and is making India look ridiculous.

Indians lke Gere, especially for his work promoting health issues in the country.

The Dalai Lama also likes him.

Shetty's rise to fame came when she was the victim of an alledged facist comment on a British reality show, "Celebrity Big Brother."

Perhaps the courts and the celebrities will kiss and make up soon…but not in public, of course.
