Walking By Faith – Wisdom from the Good Book
Abram – the father of faith. I thought about that some more while taking a walk with my little girl this morning.
What was remarkable about Abram and his faith was that there was no precedent for him. We, I, do things with optimism and confidence = faith, that things will turn out alright because I have seen or know of it happening to others in their lives. There have been times where things have turned out in my own life for the good and I can find nowhere to give credit except to the Creator.
It is relatively easier to have faith if you have something to base it on, experience, precedence, a full bank account for some. But, what about when you have none of those, when it’s the first time?
That was Abram’s situation. God said, “Go!” Abram went. Remarkable faith.
But, there was one who had even greater faith than he.
