Rajinikanth celebrates 62th birthday

The mega star of the south Indian film industry, Rajinikanth has today on December 12, turned 62. Its is not only a celebrating time for the actor, but also a celebration time for the fans who worship the actor like God.

Moreover, it is also a celebration time for the actor for his near full recovery from a kidney ailment for which the actor had been away from the country for a month. The actor, who has given some of his block buster hits like ‘Sivaji’ and ‘Robot’ in the recent times, is considered as a leader by his fans.

To mark the birthday of the leader, many of the fans of the actor organized special prayers and welfare activities. Rajinikanth, originally known as Sivaji Rao Gaekwad took up the action genre in the films after his gimmicks and style became popular among his fans.

This year, just when he was about to start the shooting of the shelved project ‘Rana’ suffered a kidney ailment and had been to Singapore for treatment. After returning from his treatment, Rajini hit the screen with a special appearance in the movie ‘Ra.One’ by Shahrukh Khan.
