Marjorie CEVALLOS VERAS – Representing Ecuador at Miss World 2008
Marjorie CEVALLOS VERAS will represent Ecuador at the Miss World 2008 pageant at Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg on Saturday 13th December 2008 and take the crown from current Miss World, China’s Zhang Zilin.

Marjorie was born in Guayaquil, but grew up in the nearby small city of Duran.
She has finished two years of a course in communication at Guayaguil’s University.
She has presented sports TV programs and worked as a model.
She wants to be journalist.
Marjorie likes: basketball; singing; dance; and looking after her dog Mao.
The craziest thing she has ever done – bungee jump.
Her favorite food is “ceviche” from the Ecuadorian coast.
Marjorie is one of the favorites to win.
