Hannely Zulami QUINTERO LEDEZMA – Representing Venezuela at Miss World 2008
Hannely Zulami QUINTERO LEDEZMA will represent Venezuela at the Miss World 2008 pageant at Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg on Saturday 13th December 2008 and take the crown from current Miss World, China’s Zhang Zilin.

She can speak; Spanish and basic English
Hannely was born in a taxi cab at midnight under a full moon in Caracas.
She has 7 brothers and 3 sisters who think she is a lunatic.
She is a student in psychology and fulfilling her role as Miss Venezuela.
She wants to earn her masters in merchandising and advertising.
She likes: Tropical rhythms dance, listening to romantic music and reading Paulho Coelho’s books.
Her favorite food is cachapas (corn pancakes).
Hannely was once fired from her job for giving away ice cream to the homeless.
Her motto is “If you believe you can, you can, if you don’t, you are right”.

I could never be more impressed with or amazed at Venezuelan beauty queens. I’m a Filipino and yes, we have our own delegates from the Philippines to international pageants, but then I can’t help admiring Miss Venezuela during every competition. I was viewing Hannely Quintero on YouTube yesterday and boy, was I impressed and amazed again! For sure, Hannely is going to bring home the bacon, be it as runner-up, a finalist, or the winner!
