Danielle Castano will represent the Philippines at the Miss World 2008 pageant at Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg on Saturday 13th December 2008.
Danielle Castano wants to take up nursing.
Why she thinks she is different – “I’m bubbly and I’m into sports. I was in the track and field varsity team in Hoover High School in the US and I also play volleyball. I’d like to think that I am versatile and have a lot of things to offer. I’m not scared of expressing myself fully because I admit that I do love the attention.”
Hobbies: boxing, running around the village, going to the gym
Danielle is currently ranked 9th.

I’m a bit sad because I won’t be able to watch the live telecast of this year’s Miss World pageant from South Africa. I’m at work in a call center and I won’t be off until 12noon, December 13. Would you have any idea if there’s a reply and which channel?

good to hear that janina choosed to backout not for anything else but for the sake of country’s glory and pride, thats according to my personal opinion and all. i salute her despite of her incapabilities, she’s brave enough for me. and congratulations to you Danielle, i believe everything happened for a purposed and for some to learn lessons from what happened. all i wanna say is you deserved it so go go go for the crown, may God bless you and guide you through out the fight. just be cool, be true, friendly and be a good example to the rest. we’ll lift all our prayers for your fight, for pilipinos fight.
