The Hindi movie ‘Ra. One’ Random Access–Version 1.0, directed by Anubhav Sinha and produced by Gauri Khan was released in India and across the world on Diwali, October 26, 2011.

Bollywoods costliest even movie Shahrukh Khan as Shekhar Subramanium and Kareena Kapoor as Sonia.

‘RA.One’, opened in nearly 5000 screens in 2D and 550 screens in 3D in India across the world. This makes it the biggest Bollywood movie released ever. In India alone, the film is opening on more than 3,500 screens. Watch trailer video.

Chinese-American actor Tom Wu, Shahana Goswami and Dalip Tahil also star in supporting roles, along with Rajinikanth, Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra making guest appearances.

Shahrukh Khan seems to have kept everything about the movie under wraps, talking about the promotional strategy regarding the look of the villain, “Ra.One” Khan said: ,”My last strategy was that I do not want any one to know what the bad guy looks like. You see it in the film.”

On the same day as no Hindi movie makers dared to release their movies, Tamil superstar Suriya much awaited movie ’7 am Arivu’ and its telugu remake ’7th Sense ‘ were released. The reviews of the movie are excellent. Some critics say its a must watch movie for all Suriya fans.
