Photos: Priyanka Chopra wins the most Glamorous Diva Award

It was reported on March 22, 2012, that after being crowned Miss India and Miss World, Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has bagged another highly coveted award of the Most Glamorous Diva also.

The award was given to her by a local TV channel CBS for the “Big Love Show” purely based on the feedback and ratings received from her fans and the film fraternity.

The survey conducted by this channel covered almost all aspects of Ms. Chopra’s image, her style, acting skills and over all fan following.

But what really makes her popular is the fact that Ms. Chopra has achieved all this without the backing of any godfather with in the industry or family connections.

In her statement Priyanka thanked all her fans and said that she never though she’d be a pageant again in any contest but it feels great and she felt just as nervous during this contest as she did during the Miss World contest.

She further stated that “Somebody like me, I am not from this industry, I started working when I was 17 years old, I came to Bombay with stars in my eyes and hoping that I could be the best and when your fans believe in you, it really feels that if I can do it, anyone can do it, because I am just like them.

I am exactly who she is, she is a working girl and I am a working girl and you know it almost feels like a certain sense of acceptance,” .
