Ashwariya Rai Bachhan is one of the Bollywood actresses who has come out to set a mark for the International peace this International Peace Day in the company of the UN Chief Ban-Ki-Moon and American Actor Michal Douglas.

The first appearance of any Bachhan family member at the UN Headquarters has been labelled as “absolute honour” to work and spread out the message for a world peaceful and powerful at the very same time.

Resonating for the message of Peace Bachhan quoted that “Peace is the call of the day, it has been and will always be”

Wearing an Indian outfit, popularly known as the Lehnga, a traditional dress for the Indians, Bachhan stood along with Michael and addressed the UN Chief, Ban-Ki-Moon in a meaningful manner.

The Theme of “Sustainable peace for a Sustainable Future” has made the chief to emphasise on the importance of sustainable development of the natural resources.
