Madhuri Dixit next to be waxed at Madame Tussauds
Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit is the next actress to be waxed and immortalized in the popular Museum of Madame Tussauds. The actress who is known for her grace and dancing skills has left a mark in the Indian film industry.
The 44 year old actress has already posed for the sculptors from the museum and will be unveiling her likeness in London in the month of March 2012. A team of expert sculptors, hair, wardrobe and make up will now be working on the wax figure.
The wax figure is likely to cost £150,000. A statement released by Madame Tussauds read that the decision to include Madhuri in the Bollywood list came after they received several requests to include the actress.
The statement further added that the figure will make a stunning new addition to the Bollywood area which continues to grow in popularity every year. Madhuri is remembered for her graceful dance from the movies like ‘Tezaab’, ‘Devdas’ and ‘Aaja Nachle’. In the year 2002 the actress tied the knot with Dr. Shriram Nene, based in Denver and has two sons.
