Kajal Agarwal cast for ‘Dammu’ in place of Shruti Haasan

After south actress Shruti Haasan walked out of the Telugu project ‘Dammu’ starring Junior NTR, the makers have cast actress Kajal Agarwal for the female lead role. Agarwal was not involved in any major project post ‘Dhada’.

Director Boyapetti Seenu has cast Kajal in place of Shruti. Seenu had rushed in the casting of Agarwal as he did not want the move to be delayed. Shruti had dropped out of the project as she had accepted Aamir Khan’s offer for the Hindi version of the movie ‘7Aam Arivu’.

Director Seenu had known that Kajal was not having any other project in hand than the Tamil movie ‘Matraan’ after which he had approached with a script.

The film maker had also spoken high about the upcoming movie ‘Dammu’ and had said that he had never heard of such high energy level songs.

Actress Shruti had opted out of the movie as she was not satisfied of the progress of the movie and she had also some monetary issues with the makers.
