Gaayam 2 Movie review

Gaayam 2 Telugu movie has been released on Friday, September 3, 2010 in India.

Although being the sequel of the 1993 movie, Gaayam, Gaayam 2 fails to
create the same impact that the previous movie did. Gaayam 2 misses on
the good screenplay that Gaayam had then scored on. Just to link the
two movies, the director of the film Praveen Sri, borrowed some scenes
from the old one, but instead of forming a bridge, the movie gives the
feel of being lengthy.

Jagpathy
Babu, who starred in the old Gaayam also stars in its supposed sequel
too. But this time fails to give justice to his role. The others
starring in the film are Vimal Raman, Tanikella Bharani, Kota Prasad,
Kota Srinivasa Rao Jeeva and Harsha Vardhan.

Praveen
Sri seems to have put loads of efforts in making the film but somehow,
the efforts did not touch the hearts. The music of the film is composed
by Illayaraja.

Gaayam 2 is an average movie. It is difficult to categorize this movie say critics.
